Now don’t get us wrong, we too have experienced the ups and downs in our own fitness journeys. One thing we do know though is on a personal level how much better we feel incorporating exercise into our life's bringing with it a sense of achievement and calm.

Self belief is hard
At the start we mentioned we love the act of laughing, with one of our favourite shows being Derek, written and directed by Ricky Gervais. For those of you who have watched the show you will be familiar with the character Kev. Whilst we can’t quote many of Kev’s statements in public, one poignant quote has stuck with us where after yet another 'episode' in his life, Kev goes onto say “I’m not a failure because I didn’t succeed. I’m a failure because I didn’t try”.
Let those words sink in. He believes he is a failure because he didn’t bother to try.
This got us thinking, how many of us are going through life not fully believing in ourselves, or not fully pushing ourselves mentally and/or physically to be the best version of ourselves, and why was that?
